January 10th 2005:
ramsac, a leading IT solutions provider, today forecast that 2005 will be the most successful in its 14 years of business, as SMEs in Surrey choose to outsource their IT department, in order to focus resources and costs on improving core business performance.
In 2004 ramsac experienced 30% growth with local companies including Air Charter Service, Premier Asset Management and Perry Hay & Co outsourcing their IT requirements to ramsac. This growing trend is supported by figures from a recent poll conducted by the National Outsourcing Association, which reports that 72% of companies believe IT outsourcing to be a core objective.
Explained Managing Director of ramsac, Robert May; “The e-commerce website going down, lost emails and vital business data, security breeches or even the entire network collapsing can all have an immediate and dramatic impact on the day-to-day business operations of a business.”
In addition to ensuring vital IT systems are running efficiently 24/7, companies are realising that outsourcing enables their businesses to keep pace with the rapid changes in technology that can help provide them with the competitive advantage they need. Crucially this is achievable without the need to invest directly in the expertise and infrastructure themselves.
May continues; “Handing over IT to a specialist consultancy can generate significant cost savings in both human resources and expenditure and results in increased operational efficiency.”
“ramsac is looking forward to expanding its work with local businesses in 2005, to meet their IT requirements and deliver the solutions, advice and support that will make a real difference,” concludes May.
