February 21st 2006:
ramsac, a leading IT solutions consultancy, today announced that it has partnered with Active Digital, one of the UK's leading independent providers of mobile phones and data solutions to UK businesses. Under the agreement, Active Digital Communications will extend ramsac’s secure, wireless voice and data offerings to its outsourced remote and mobile clients.
Established in 1996, Active Digital Communications is one of the UK's leading independent providers of mobile phones and data solutions to UK businesses.
The company connects to all of the mobile networks and provides bespoke tariffs, personally tailored to meet every requirement. Active Digital is renowned for providing a dedicated and personal customer service and was recently 'Highly Commended' for service at the Mobile Retailer Awards 2005.
Managing Director of ramsac, Robert May, explains, “In today’s 24/7 business environment, mobility is a necessity. Our clients need a secure and reliable service to be able to deliver and access the right information required by their employees, partners, suppliers and others. And these resources must be available from wherever our clients choose to access them, whether this is from a Bluetooth PDA, a notebook with a wireless adaptor, or a next generation mobile phone.”
May adds, “We have chosen to work with Active Digital because we both share the same customer service philosophy, and they are proven experts in a very specialist field. Our clients come to us seeking ways to improve the security and speed of remote and mobile working and to benefit from being able to share real-time information across their entire operations wherever they are. We will be working with Active Digital to ensure that ramsac delivers mobile and remote solutions especially designed to meet our client’s business needs and expectations”
Added Managing Director of Active Digital Communications, Jo Groves, “The industry shows us how mobile and IT services are progressively becoming one. The key message for 2006 is to ‘simplify your communications’. As data has become such a key part of mobile, including Blackberry (email on the move, PDA devices and data cards), it is clear that communications is much more than just voice. In the past, where we have seen companies such as BT focusing on landlines and Vodafone focusing on mobile service, the industry is becoming more aware of how users are benefiting from all types of services and increased use. With over 10 years experience in meeting the specific requirements of our customers, we are delighted to be partnering with a like-minded company such as ramsac. We look forward to working with them and their clients to fulfil their remote and mobile voice and data needs.”
