ramsac, a leading IT solutions company today announced that it has provided CHASE hospice care for children with remote working capabilities, enabling its Community Care Team to update important and confidential information securely and instantly from any location. The Citrix-based solution will save money and reduce the time spent travelling to and from the CHASE head quarters in Surrey, resulting in more time spent providing vital care services.
Prior to implementing remote access, the 12 strong Community Care Team was required to make frequent visits to the office to update the records of the 240 families CHASE currently cares for. With the team dispersed across South-West London, Surrey and Sussex, it was an inefficient use of time and money.
Paul Bartlett, the IT and Bookings coordinator for CHASE explains, “Our highly skilled Community Care Team need to be spending the majority of their time working with families and not travelling to and from the office to update files. The remote working solution provided by ramsac allows us to achieve this whilst saving money.”
The remote access solution enables the twelve members of the Community Care Team to use any PC or laptop to access the CHASE care team database via the internet, allowing them to securely and efficiently update the files as if they were in their own office.
Prior to the project ramsac was already an important part of the CHASE IT strategy providing advice and support for its network, hardware, software and internal database requirements. Bartlett concludes, “ramsac’s input and expertise has become an essential part of the way we function. Enabling our Community Care Team to improve the way they work through remote access is just one example of the benefits we derive from employing the expertise of an IT consultancy.”
