The annual awards celebrate the success of local businesses and recognise their contribution to the economy, community and prosperity of Surrey. A former winner of the Surrey Business Award for ‘SME Business of the Year’ and ranked as one of the top 100 managed IT source providers in the world by MSPmentor, the company is shortlisted in the ‘Companies with a turnover of up to £5m’ category in the forthcoming awards.

In the past year ramsac has continued to grow, with healthy levels of profit (figures for the end of 2010 show a 21% increase on the previous year), 29 new contracted customers and an expanded team. It has launched an innovative new IT mentoring Service and new 24/7 IT support. ramsac has also signed up to UK Skills Pledge and has taken on two IT Apprentices in 2010. The company has also supported the sharing of business knowledge, hosting local business seminar events throughout the year and has been active in the wider community raising money for CHASE Children’s Hospice and sponsoring Guildford Heat Basketball Club.
