ramsac support cover Christmas and New Year 2021

With December well underway, we wanted to give you some notice about our Christmas support and delivery arrangements

 

Order processing

 

In order to guarantee a pre Christmas delivery, orders for hardware and software need to be placed by 17:00 on Wednesday 15th December. This includes orders for any licences, maintenance or software renewals that fall due before the end of December.

 

New User Requests

 

Please note that if you have new users starting between Christmas and New Year, you should notify us of that request by the Monday 20th December at 12 pm.

 

Office and Support arrangements

 

Our office and the support helpdesk will close at 17:00 on Friday 24th December, in the period between Christmas and New Year, we will be operating a skeleton staff across most teams, returning to ‘business as usual’ at 8:00 on Tuesday 4th January 2022.

ramsac support customers can access technical assistance as follows:
24/7 contract holders can access support across the whole festive period, with the exception of Christmas day.*

Standard Hours support contract customers can access the helpdesk from 09.00 to 17.30 on the 29th, 30th and 31st December only.

*All days apart from the 29th, 30th and 31st December will count as ‘out of hours’ and will be subject to the normal access terms. You will need to use your dedicated support number to access support during out of hours periods, as the standard ramsac numbers will not be manned during these times.

If you would like to upgrade to 24-hour support for the festive period, please speak to your ramsac relationship manager by the 16th December so that appropriate arrangements can be made to temporarily upgrade your service agreement.

Changing IT support providers, like changing lawyers, is not a decision any business takes lightly or frequently. The decision is fraught with numerous questions such as whether the new team will understand my business needs, will it cause teething problems, and more importantly, will the reality match the sales pitch! We took that decision to move to Ramsac in January after ten years with another provider and we have not regretted that choice for a moment. Ramsac are simply great! From the get go we have been very well supported from the front line very helpful telephone support team right up to our relationship manager. We feel that the Ramsac team are very much an integral part of us . What however has driven us to write this review is the fabulous support we have received following a cyber attack this week. Something no business wants to happen but is increasingly a sad factor of modern cyber life. I have known Dan May and Ramsac for 5 or 6 years now. Dan is such a great guy and really helpful with strategic advice and input on all things IT. He's so approachable and doesn't baffle you with IT jargon. If you are looking to outsource your IT or you have a problem you need help with Dan is definitely the one to ask.
