Office 365 allows you to access your data on any device, anywhere in the world. While the benefits are obvious, from an IT perspective we need to think about how we control who and how users access the data securely. With bring your own device, users expect to be able to work on any device, but without proper security and processes in place this is a risk to the organisation. For example, ramsac manage client networks, ensuring machines aren’t running out of date operating systems, anti-virus etc however, but we have no control over a user accessing their email from a home PC running Windows 98 PC with no anti-virus!
