Webinar: “Help I’ve been hacked!”

What to do, who to call, and how to stop it happening again
Cyber-attacks are not just a ‘big business’ problem. They affect organisations of every size and industry, every day, usually because some security feature has been overlooked or someone makes a mistake in the heat of the moment.
In this short 30-minute webinar, we will break down what to do the moment you realise something’s wrong, explain why preparation makes all the difference, and talk about how organisations can reduce the risk of it happening again.
Date: Thursday 12th March 2026
Time: 11:00-11:30am

Why you need to know this even if “IT isn’t your thing”
When a cyber incident hits, the first few minutes matter. A lot.
In this session, Charlie will start with sharing the real cyber threat trends we’re currently seeing, backed up with statistics from live incidents. The webinar then moves on to the immediate actions to take when you realise something is not right.
This includes practical guidance on:
- What actions to be taken immediately to contain a suspected threat.
- What information to gather about the incident.
- Who to tell and how quickly.
The focus is on clear, memorable actions that can be followed even in a high-pressure situation.

Attention then turns to the Cyber Incident Response Plan (IRP), where Charlie will explain what an IRP actually is, what should be included in one, and why it is important for every organisation to have one and every employee to know that it exists and how to follow it.
To close the session, the focus shifts to what happens next with practical steps to reduce the likelihood of it happening again as well as further safeguards you can put in place for your organisation.
This webinar is ideal for business leaders, managers, and anyone responsible for people, data, or systems who wants to feel more confident about handling a cyber incident.
