What is Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 (previously known as Office 365) is a subscription service charged on a cost per user per month basis. It includes access to Microsoft Office applications plus other productivity services that are enabled over the Internet (the cloud)

This can depend on which plan you have, there are different features and tools within Microsoft 365 and multiple plans depending on the size and type of the organisation and the functionality required. At the top end, it includes email with a 50 GB mailbox, desktop and web versions of the latest Office apps: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus each individual users licence covers the use of 5 phones, 5 tablets, & 5 PCs or Macs per user.
