Rob May is the Executive Chairman and co-founder of ramsac, where he oversees the company’s strategy and culture. A recognised authority in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI), Rob combines strategic insight with extensive hands-on experience to help organisations navigate the evolving technology landscape. He is a well-known author and speaker, with published works including ‘Harnessing AI’ and ‘The Human Firewall’. As a TEDx presenter and frequent keynote speaker at national and international events, Rob is widely respected for his ability to simplify complex topics and inspire business leaders to act on cyber risk. Rob sits on several industry advisory boards and is the UK Ambassador for Cybersecurity with the Institute of Directors (IoD). He is also a Leadership Fellow at Windsor Castle, a Fellow of the IoD and a Fellow at Burton and South Derbyshire College (BSDC), where he serves as Patron for Employability. Through his leadership, Rob has shaped a security-first culture at ramsac and championed education as a key defence against emerging threats.
